Manages the daily operations of more than two small to medium sized specialty divisions or a large specialty division (determined by faculty and staff headcount) with complexity primarily in the areas of administration management. Represents the department on administrative affairs to the institution community.

Responsible for the oversight, direction and planning of multiple divisional units or a large complex division with increased scope, complexity, and sub specialties. Manages all facets and phases of administrative and operation pertaining to clinical, research, and education.
Provides divisional input and works closely with departmental budget/finance team for budgets and financial reports for grants, general appropriations, endowments, and other funds.
Oversees the management of general appropriation, endowment, federal and non-federal grants and contracts, and gift funds.
Manages and improves business processes and operations by ensuring continuity, integration of policies and procedures with the organization's mission and strategic plan.
Identifies short-term and strategic goals and has oversight for the allocation of resources to meet priorities.
Controls all expenditures and statement of accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal integrity.
Develops, plans, and directs special projects, which may include space renovations, space allocations, staffing, equipment purchase, long-range plans, leasing of off-campus space and services.
Supervises administrative staff and responsible for hiring and managing performance.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
