Responsibilities

Lead and develop a world-class FP&A function that provides data-driven insights across Aurora as we commercialize our technology
Lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and business analytics activities, adapting these as the business grows and changes
Work across Aurora to improve financial discipline and enhance the financial and business acumen of non-financial leaders, becoming a trusted partner of leaders at Aurora and helping to ensure spend is aligned with plans and priorities
Drive the continual improvement and simplification of our financial processes, to include the potential future implementation of planning and reporting software tools
Mentor and guide team members to ensure their professional growth
Be hands-on as well as strategic; we need leaders who are willing and able to operate at all levels

Desired Qualifications

Logistics, SaaS, Automotive, or Mobility experience
CPA (or international equivalent), CFA or MBA
Directly responsible for and/or heavily involved in the selection, implementation and ongoing maintenance of sophisticated FP&A tools (e.g. Essbase, Anaplan) that tie directly into corporate accounting systems

Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We’re searching for an experienced finance leader to lead our FP&A team. This position can be hired at a Director or Sr. Director level based on experience and background.

In this role, you will

The base salary range for this position is $177,000 - $347,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
