Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, including employee time tracking, calculation of wages, and payroll tax deductions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. Maintain employee records and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions and ensuring proper classification and coding. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis. Prepare adjusting journal entries and month-end closing procedures.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Generate financial reports for management review and decision-making purposes. Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
