  • Bachelor's or 2-year associate degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years technical sales experience with at least 3 years in hydraulic fluid power system sales
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Ability to write technical proposals
  • Application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic/pneumatic products and systems
  • Experience with value-added sales
  • Ability to establish, grow, and maintain business relationships
  • Experience using CRM for project logging and tracking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and competitive drive
  • Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
  • Develop and autonomously manage sales activities within a specified territory
  • Create a sales plan to develop a prospect list
  • Conduct full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
