BS in CS or equivalent industry experience
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in frontend development, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React JS Single Page Applications (SPA)
An understanding of basic UX principles and design

Full stack experience using a React SPA with Flask backend while implementing REST APIs utilizing Object Relational Mapping

Verdant Robotics is on the leading edge of robotic farming. We are looking for a software engineer intern to join our team to help in the development of our machine learning, fleet operations, and engineering web applications. Your contribution to our mission will have a direct and meaningful impact in the world.

During your internship, you will be responsible for designing and building front end software – enabling improvement in our machine learning pipelines, fleet operations, and engineering analysis.

Our core technology empowers farmers to improve the quantity and quality of their crops. We use computer vision and artificial intelligence to understand every part of every plant at a massive scale -- and with automated robotics, we close the loop and act on that information in real-time. We are leaders in robotics, computer-vision, and machine learning. Together with our partners, we are building environmentally-friendly, sustainable and highly productive farms.

Our office is located in Hayward, CA about 25-30 mins average commute from most places in the Bay Area. We offer competitive pay and a great team environment.
