Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, with a strong track record and passion for building successful relationships
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from various backgrounds
  • Natural networking abilities, with a genuine passion for meeting new people and nurturing relationships
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Understanding of marketing and commerce technology – including experience, content and commerce
  • Excellent presentation & pitching skills
  • High levels of enthusiasm and energy, with a positive attitude that inspires and motivates others
  • Flexibility to travel and attend events as required (predominately UK, with some occasional European travel)
  • Extremely organised, efficient and able to get up to speed quickly
  • Public speaking experience
Responsibilities
  • Attend industry events, partner events, conferences, dinners and other networking opportunities to meet client organisation contacts and to cultivate relationships.
  • Identify potential prospects and generate leads through your networking efforts.
  • Proactively follow-up with contacts post events and keep the conversation going.
  • Identify and select, based on your experience, the best events to organise and attend to maximise interests from net new prospects.
  • Work closely with the broader Growth team (Sales, Partnerships and Marketing) to shape the event calendar and warm up networking opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on what’s going on in B2C / B2B customer and client organisation trends, commerce services and technology and martech.
