August Health provides a suite of digital tools for care facilities like nursing homes to streamline operations. It offers a productivity tool that centralizes and digitizes documents to save time, improve patient care, and strengthen community relations. Its features include digital face sheets and emergency packets, progress notes with alert charting, and a family portal for billing. A standout capability is automating the move-in process by digitizing move-in packets with e-signatures and a collaborative family portal, reducing move-in paperwork time by up to 80% and improving occupancy. The platform also includes a compliance dashboard with autofill of state licensing forms, e-signatures, and real-time monitoring to minimize risk and avoid citations. Revenue comes from charging facilities for access to the tool, with potential gains from better assessment data, fewer citations, and faster move-ins.
