- At least 4–10 years of QA Engineer or QA Leader experience.
- Ability to understand and analyze technical specifications and experience designing and creating test cases.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and QA tools such as ALM, TestRail, TestLink, and QASymphony.
- Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum and Waterfall software development life cycles.
- At least 2 years of experience running and maintaining automated test cases for mobile applications, web applications, or application programming interfaces.
- Professional experience using Appium for mobile applications, Selenium for web-based applications, or Unirest/REST Assured for application programming interfaces.
- Proficiency with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development tools such as Jenkins or Bitrise.
- Experience writing SQL, Java, or C# to develop automation frameworks for user-interface, application-programming-interface, and backend database testing.
- Experience creating complex SQL queries to verify testing results.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, self-direction, proactivity, teamwork, open-mindedness, and good communication.
- Ability to leverage artificial intelligence and large-language-model tools in daily workflows, including code development, reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation, while maintaining human oversight, judgment, and accountability.
- Analyze testing requirements using testing methodology as the basis for developing test scenarios for the test level executed on a project.
- Design, create, review, maintain, and update test cases based on specifications.
- Prepare the test data, tools, and environments required for test execution.
- Produce test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Execute functional and non-functional tests.
- Report defects, track the status of reported defects, and verify fixes.
- Support knowledge management and collaboration by participating in testing discussions and communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned.
- Provide training and instructions to newcomers.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert in assigned areas and provide domain knowledge to support other QA engineers and developers.
- ISTQB or equivalent certificate.
- Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS.
- Experience working with microservices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced information-technology or web-industry development environment; Agile development experience is a plus.
- Experience standardizing QA processes and methodologies or proposing improvements to QA processes.
- Experience proposing and introducing new QA tools into the testing process.
- Experience developing or providing QA for systems in the financial or payment sector.
- Experience running performance tests using Gatling, Wrk, or JMeter.
- Experience with Bash or other command-line-interface scripting.
- Curiosity and passion for learning new technologies.
- Experience leveraging artificial-intelligence or large-language-model tools in daily workflows while ensuring human oversight and accountability.
