  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering or related fields from an accredited university with expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May of 2027
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
  • Developing understanding of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning; DMAIC and Lean Manufacturing
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
  • Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
Responsibilities
  • Assists in identifying key opportunities for product and process quality improvements in the area of Vendor Performance
  • Drives corrective and preventive actions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Applies project and process management on a wide variety of engineering, quality and merchandising projects
  • Works on projects that include the evaluation of product designs, customer requirements and coordinating the development of product specifications as defined by quality, merchandising and management
  • Interfaces with applicable agencies, consultants, defined consumer groups and management
  • Monitors and communicates to quality management all project progress and conformance with established goals and objectives
  • Prepares written technical and verbal reports to management, as well as to vendors as required
  • Collaborates directly with Merchandising, Lowe’s Global Sourcing, Supply Chain, Product Development, Marketing and Store Operations in order to complete tasks and drive product quality improvements
