Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day project due diligence, feasibility budgets and schedules, and planning and entitlement activities; support programs established by the Area management team.
  • Assign and manage due diligence projects for the designated business unit or geographic area, assess project risks, and establish consulting and engineering development activities.
  • Coordinate land planning with municipalities, agencies, and utility authorities.
  • Pursue zoning and land-use changes through public meetings and governmental hearings.
  • Manage pre-acquisition land development budgets, schedules, and cash-flow activities.
  • Review purchase agreements for entitlement deal points and monitor compliance with their terms; assist with coordination of joint development agreements or joint ventures.
  • Review design documents, site plans, improvement plans, and plats for project coordination and accuracy; determine availability requirements for utilities, concurrencies, and impact fees.
  • Plan and establish goals and objectives for a team of professionals.
  • Supervise professionals, lead, direct, and review team members' work, and provide input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
