Requirements
  • Board Certified or Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist as applicable in the state of practice
  • Must be able to work onsite and be local to the Portland metro area
  • Must hold or be able to obtain licenses in Oregon and Washington to be credentialed for this assignment
  • Must be available to work weekend and on-call coverage in support of Kaiser Brookside Center and two Kaiser Permanente hospitals in the Portland Metro area

Responsibilities
  • Provide weekend on-call coverage for inpatient psychiatric services at Kaiser Brookside Center and the two Kaiser Permanente hospitals in the Portland metro area
  • Work onsite at Kaiser Brookside Center and Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center and Kaiser Westside Medical Center as part of the locum tenens arrangement
  • Collaborate with Kaiser Permanente psychiatry and hospital staff to deliver inpatient psychiatric care during weekend/on-call shifts
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and safety during weekend on-call coverage
  • Adhere to credentialing and organizational policies for the Kaiser Permanente system as part of the locum tenens assignment
