Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Basic computer and software proficiency is required.
- The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical counter and warehouse tasks is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in finding the right heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration products.
- Answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and application.
- Provide timely, professional support for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Recommend solutions based on customer needs.
- Provide accurate inventory availability information.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Generate new and repeat business through strong product knowledge.
- Provide pricing, quotes, discounts, and tax calculations.
- Upsell additional products and solutions when appropriate.
- Follow up on sales inquiries and leads to drive additional business.
- Assist customers with basic heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration product and application questions.
- Refer more complex technical issues to the technical support associate or appropriate team members.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining organized inventory.
- Support general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and phone and email support.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of customer service or sales experience are preferred.
- HVAC industry experience is nice to have.
