Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED and 5-8 years of human resources-related experience are required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day human resources operations and coordinate departmental goals, processes, and programs.
  • Drive companywide recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Support performance management, team member reviews, and professional development initiatives.
  • Manage weekly payroll processing, including rates, taxes, deductions, and quarterly and year-end filings.
  • Administer benefit programs, insurance plans, and COBRA, including renewals and enrollment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state human resources laws, EEO/Affirmative Action plans, prevailing wage requirements, and required reporting.
  • Oversee OSHA, safety, and training requirements, along with Workers’ Compensation administration and reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with union and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maintain the Employee Handbook, process documentation, and the Learning Management System.
  • Safeguard confidential information and uphold the company’s Confidentiality Agreement.
