Security Administrator, Mid
Key Role:
Administer US government security policies and procedures in managing classified government contract programs as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO). Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), including maintaining the structural integrity of the SCIF, managing and monitoring all access, and administering security education. Exhibit flexibility, set priorities, and manage customer expectations in a sometimes fast-paced environment. Provide support in clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, and physical security, including alarm response for controlled areas associated with both collateral and SCI security programs. Make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions. Interact with internal and external customers or Government security officials to perform security duties. Address routine personnel security matters with employees regarding issues. Report preparation and program security access briefing duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Industrial Security
- Experience as a CSSO or A/CSSO
- Experience in database functions, including DISS, eQIP, or PeopleSoft
- Knowledge of the NISPOM Rule, DCIDs/ICDs, SCI, COMSEC, and Government security directives
- Knowledge of clearance processing, doc control, physical security, including closed areas and SCIFs, Automated Information System security, and SATE
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Completion of DSS Academy FSO Course or CSSO training
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of security disciplines, Information, Physical, and COMSEC and their relationship to PERSEC
- Ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences
- Ability to work in a team
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Completion of DSS courses, Personnel Security Management, and Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
