Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the penetration and go-to-market strategy for the Northeast, treating each metro area and sub-region as a distinct operational and strategic unit
  • Use data to segment the region by demand density, delivery economics, and LTV/CAC profiles to drive targeted investments and resource allocation
  • Align regional decisions with broader company goals while flexing to market-specific realities across urban, suburban, and edge territories
  • Own all financial levers of the Northeast region, including forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategy, and capital allocation
  • Continuously improve contribution margins and cost-to-serve metrics by managing supply, demand, fulfillment, and marketing effectiveness in concert
  • Ensure sustainable growth by balancing investment in top-line expansion with operational efficiency and profitability
  • Optimize local, middle-mile and long-haul logistics across the region, ensuring high food quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Fulfillment teams to improve routing, drop density, kitchen throughput, and SLA adherence across geographies with diverse delivery needs
  • Anticipate and solve complex trade-offs between cost, delivery times, and freshness across regional corridors
  • Collaborate with central marketing and growth teams to localize customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle strategies
  • Pilot and iterate demand-generation experiments specific to different customer segments and geo profiles
  • Track and improve NPS, retention, and customer satisfaction with localized insights and interventions
  • Partner with Culinary and Supply Ops to ensure the chef portfolio aligns with regional taste preferences, kitchen capacity, and demand velocity
  • Coordinate kitchen utilization, production planning, ingredient inventory, and labor management to maximize freshness and output
  • Influence culinary onboarding and menu strategy to create the right offering mix across different consumer bases
  • Nurture the local chef community to create loyalty beyond the revolutionary earnings chef already make
  • Build and leverage dashboards, geo-segmentation models, and performance reports to inform decision-making and operational tradeoffs
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for your team and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and iterate quickly using a test-and-learn mindset
  • Act as the connective tissue across Culinary, Marketing, Logistics, Product, Technology, CX, and Finance
  • Drive strategic initiatives that require input or execution across multiple departments
  • Ensure regional needs are surfaced and reflected in product roadmaps, process improvements, and strategic planning
  • Lead by example, representing CookUnity’s leadership principles and be a culture carrier infusing our values through the organization
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing regional team across functions including business operations, logistics, culinary experience, and CX
