Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, or ability to qualify, preferred
  • 3-5 years of accounting and analysis experience, revenue (ASC 606) experience a plus
  • Recent public accounting experience or revenue accounting experience with a publicly-traded company highly desirable
  • Knowledge of accounting for Multiple-Element Arrangements
  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills are required for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial management
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting

Responsibilities
  • Develop collaborative, responsive relationships with Sales, Commercial Operations, Deals desk, Legal and IT and be a primary point of contact to navigate revenue related Finance matters
  • Review quotes to ensure proper system setup to enable appropriate revenue treatment in accordance with ASC 606
  • Review and summarize customer arrangements with non-standard terms for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards
  • Develop an extensive understanding of Axon products and bundles
  • Research technical accounting issues for complex transactions or arrangements in accordance with ASC 606 and draft memos on key findings
  • Help coordinate new product and pricebook setups to ensure proper revenue recognition patterns
  • Bring a fresh viewpoint to help identify ways to improve the processes and efficiency as we move through a phase of rapid growth and technology change
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Work closely with Revenue Accounting Operations to ensure timely revenue close
  • Other duties that may arise

Axon Announces Private Exchanges Of Convertible Senior Notes

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Axon Enterprise, Inc. (Nasdaq: AXON) ("Axon") announced today that it has entered into separate, privately negotiated exchange agreements with certain holders of its 0.50% convertible senior notes due 2027 (the "Notes"). Pursuant to these exchange agreements, Axon has agreed, subject to customary closing conditions, to exchange approximately $407.5 million aggregate principal amount of the Notes for exchange consideration consisting of cash and shares of its common stock that will be determined over an averaging period commencing on March 7, 2025. Assuming the per share volume-weighted average price of Axon's common stock during each day of the averaging period is $499.31 (the closing price of Axon's common stock on March 6, 2025), Axon expects to issue an aggregate of approximately 1.0 million shares of common stock upon consummation of the exchanges. The cash portion of the exchange consideration will represent the principal amount of, and accrued and unpaid interest on, the Notes being exchanged. Following the closing of the exchanges, which is expected to occur on or about March 13, 2025, Axon will have approximately $282.5 million aggregate principal amount of Notes outstanding.In connection with these exchanges, Axon expects the various exchange agreement counterparties who have hedged their equity price risk with respect to the Notes being exchanged (the "hedged holders") will unwind all or part of their hedge positions by purchasing Axon's common stock and/or entering into or unwinding various derivative transactions with respect to Axon's common stock

Axon Announces Proposed Offering Of $1,500.0 Million Of Senior Notes

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Axon Enterprise, Inc. (Nasdaq: AXON) ("Axon") announced today that it intends to offer, subject to market and other conditions, $1,500.0 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes, comprising senior notes due 2030 (the "2030 Notes") and senior notes due 2033 (the "2033 Notes" and, together with the 2030 Notes, the "Notes") in a private offering that is exempt from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act").
