Responsible for all financial activities of assigned clients including but not limited to: Customer billings, cash application, deduction processing
Accounts receivable and accounts payable
Cost accounting, inventory valuation and verification
Payroll
Fixed Assets
Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual internal financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow as well as supporting schedules
Liaise with business unit leaders, marketing and operations areas to understand and actualize goals and objectives, develop forecasts and projections, and develop models and other tools to provide accurate and complete budgets and forecasts
Conduct analysis of financial results, including budget to actual, costs, etc. with a particular emphasis on sales, operational costs and associated margins
Recommend accounting changes to better assess business performance
Analyze manufacturing variances including material yields, throughputs and burden spend
Work with local, state and federal agencies to process financial and administrative documentation
Perform office management functions
Prepare and posts journal entries
Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:
5+ years total accounting experience (required)
3+ years in cost accounting (required)
Consumer packaged goods experience (preferred)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance (required)
Master’s in Accounting/Finance (plus)
