Position requires onsite presence in Los Angeles.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Go or Python programming languages with 1+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of cloud compute web services like AWS, GCP and Azure.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems.
- Proven experience building, debugging, optimizing software in large-scale, high-volume environments.
- Experience running highly-available systems in production environments.
- Experience with relational databases/non-relational databases like Postgres, Mysql, DocumentDB and MongoDB.
- Assist in coding, debugging, and end-to-end testing embedded software.
- Participate in the development of cloud platforms and services.
- Participate in the design and implementation of scalable and secure backend infrastructure.
- Assist with troubleshooting and optimizing system performance for high availability.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and implementation details.
- Video/audio streaming experience is a plus.
- Previous work experience in a start-up environment.
