Requirements
  • Possess three (3) years journeyman level experience required to perform the duties described. herein or have successfully completed a DOL approved apprentice program for these trades.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license, with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/ID/certifications.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Favorable adjudication of a National Agency Check w/inquires (NACI).
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to successfully pass any background checks and /or drug testing required on the contract.
  • Must be capable of lifting minimum of 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Maintains, test, and repairs: Air Compressors to include checking and replacing filters, pressure switch, belts, tanks and safety valves.
  • Performs air compressor tank certifications.
  • Maintains fuel pumping stations, to include changing filters, hoses, nozzles, and pumps.
  • Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) on and repairs overhead doors, door openers/closures to include lubricating, adjusting chains, cables, and rollers. Check operations of doors and safety switches.
  • Perform repairs and PM on security gates by checking oil, drive chains, sprockets, and rollers for wear and other components as recommended by equipment manufacturers. Checks belts and pulleys, ensures motor and bearings operate properly.
  • Repairs industrial kitchen appliances.
  • Installs and maintains in good order power transmission equipment such as drives, and speed reducers.
  • Structural and load bearing repairs will be coordinated with the structural engineer.
  • Repairs, maintains, and aligns pumps and motors.
  • Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment through testing or disassembly to determine the cause of the malfunctions and repairs to manufactures specifications.
  • Utilizes a variety of hand tools makes standard shop computations relating to stresses, strength tools, equipment, and parts to be used.
  • Performs other job duties related to the performance of preventive maintenance and major repairs on machinery.
  • May be required to install or dismantle machines or heavy equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Accountable For: Working SAFELY to include wearing appropriate PPE, Eye Protection, Earplugs, hard hat, vests and gloves. Follows instructions as set forth by Company safety policies.
  • Accurate, timely, and cost-effective performance of duties.

  • Working with Project Principals to fully coordinate all activities.
  • Ability to perform work in safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision.

  • Accountable for assigned tools, materials, equipment, and EESOH-MIS chemicals.
  • Cleanliness and safety of shop and work areas.
  • Completing all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.
  • Responsible for completing daily work order log documenting inspections, maintenance, and repair information, to include work performed, materials used, and hours worked on each assigned work order.
  • Able to safely climb extension and step ladders.
  • Safely operate different types of personnel lifts such as boom and scissor.
  • Work Overtime when required.
