Senior Staff Accountant @ ALTEN Technology

Responsibilities;

Prepare and maintain accounting and financial transactions, applying accounting principles
Support month end closing and account reconciliations
Support acquisition of a new legal entity
Special project assignments/drive process improvements
Support AP person with bills and payment applications.

Skills and qualification required

3-5 years of General Ledger Accounting
Minimum of a bachelors degree (B.S.) from a technical college or university in accounting
Analytical and evaluative skills requiring an understanding of both accounting theory and practice
Complete understanding of a balance sheet and income statement.
Understand accounting entries
Good communication
Team player
Works well under stressful deadlines
