Requirements
  • A minimum of four years of warehouse or inventory-related work experience is required.
  • A four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications, is required.
  • Expert Excel and data analysis skills are required.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently, understand priorities, and communicate effectively.
  • The position requires long periods of standing and walking.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key internal and external contacts are required.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the on-dock control tower for the direct shipment program.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process flow between Canadian Solar (USA) Inc. and Canadian Solar U.S. Module Manufacturing and assist in developing efficiencies in the transfer process between the two entities.
  • Implement shipping programs from the factory site to either the local warehouse or directly to customers.
  • Maintain analytics to illustrate movement between sales and manufacturing.
  • Support required logistics SAP transactions regarding the sale and transfer of goods between the factory and sales entity.
  • Work closely with on-site fourth-party logistics personnel and internal factory teams in Mesquite to maintain applicable standard operating procedures and troubleshoot logistics issues.
  • Coordinate direct shipping from the factory to customers.
  • Manage communications with outbound carriers, coordinate schedules, and ensure on-time arrival compliance.
  • Collect outbound documents and check their accuracy before loading.
  • Perform outbound security checks and vet drivers to ensure that proper loads are assigned to legitimate carriers.
  • Complete daily trailer program analysis, including the number of loads shipped, trailers hired, hired-trailer status, and drivers used.
  • Inspect outbound shipments for damage and work with the team to correct issues.
  • Work with the North American Logistics team to troubleshoot processing issues between production and sales.
  • Support Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism policies and procedures.
  • Perform physical inventories when required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the solar industry and/or managing high-volume inventory.
  • Experience with analytical software such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Experience in warehousing.
