Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 years of SAP Procurement functional experience, including full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of deep expertise in SAP MM/PTP processes, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders, goods receipt/invoice receipt, logistics invoice verification, accounts payable integration, and payment runs.
  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on configuration experience with one or more SAP Ariba modules: Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, or Network.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with S/4HANA Materials Management architecture and integration with Financial Accounting/accounts payable.
  • Prior experience working for a large consulting or advisory firm, such as a Big Four firm, global systems integrator, or boutique SAP consulting environment.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 12 years of work experience is required; alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with six years of work experience is accepted.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and configuration of core Procure to Pay processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, logistics invoice verification, and payment runs.
  • Drive the design of procurement master data, including vendor master, purchasing info records, source lists, and outline agreements.
  • Configure and optimize Materials Management procurement processes in S/4HANA, including account determination, tolerance keys, and release strategies.
  • Lead three-way match design for purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices and manage exception-handling workflows.
  • Configure logistics invoice verification, evaluated receipt settlement, and consignment processing where in scope.
  • Support integration with Financial Accounting/Controlling for goods receipt/invoice receipt clearing.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Ariba modules, including Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and Ariba Network.
  • Design and configure the SAP S/4HANA–Ariba integration through SAP Integration Suite, including purchase order flip, order confirmation, and advance shipping notice flows.
  • Advise clients on Ariba Network supplier enablement strategy and onboarding wave planning.
  • Support migration from legacy procurement platforms, including Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Supplier Relationship Management, and manual processes, to SAP Ariba.
  • Lead Procure to Pay and Ariba workstreams through the full SAP Activate lifecycle: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
  • Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Author and maintain key design documents, including business blueprint documents, functional specification documents, configuration workbooks, integration specifications, and test scripts.
  • Support data migration activities for vendor master, open purchase orders, and outline agreements.
  • Lead system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and cutover planning for Procure to Pay and Ariba scope.
  • Coordinate with Basis and technical teams on Ariba tenant configuration, single sign-on setup, and middleware connectivity.
  • Engage Chief Procurement Officer, Vice President of Procurement, and Accounts Payable Controller stakeholders as a procurement transformation advisor.
  • Translate complex SAP and Ariba configuration options into business-relevant design decisions.
  • Manage client sign-off on Procure to Pay design decisions and track open issues through resolution.
  • Advise on procurement operating model changes, policy alignment, and change-management considerations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP Ariba Network supplier enablement and cXML transaction design.
  • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite (CIG) or equivalent middleware for Ariba-S/4 integration.
  • Familiarity with SAP SRM-to-Ariba migration scenarios.
  • Experience with indirect procurement, catalog management, and spot-buy scenarios.
  • A SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement or Ariba certification.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
