Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Business Management, Communications, or PR.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative, e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc.
  • At least one class in social media, communications, or marketing research.
  • Basic marketing and communications understanding.
  • Ability to work in both a team and individual setting.
  • Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
  • Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques.
  • A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers.
Responsibilities
  • Deepen your understanding of the different marketing communication strategies across email, social media channels, and paid social.
  • Gain expertise with email design strategies using Marketing Automation Tools and Email Design System (EDS).
  • Experience with implementation of paid social media content on LinkedIn, including video, GIFs, and static promotional imagery and exposure to budget management for ad promotion.
  • Utilize tools to execute email automation, social media post publication, engagement analytics, and more, as required by content marketing.
  • Work with teams to produce a well-rounded marketing campaign, including content and copy development, creative direction, promotional strategy, and reporting.
  • Participate in daily and other regular team meetings, including field marketing, creative services, internal sales, and marketing leadership.
  • Exposure to podcast production process, including recording via a virtual studio, sound editing and engineering, publication to podcast hosting tools, and end-to-end promotion of each podcast episode.
  • Deepen your understanding of integrated marketing strategies across several functions in the PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned) marketing initiatives model.
  • Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.
