Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of commercial insurance experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal English communications skills
  • Ability or adaptability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Knowledge of agency management systems (Epic experience a plus)
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Risk Management and Insurance, Accounting, or Finance preferred but not required
  • Property & Casualty License or willingness to obtain license upon hire
Responsibilities
  • Manages placement of new and renewal, large commercial lines business ** Marine/Oil & Gas Experience preferred **
  • Obtains necessary information from producers, account executives and account managers for submissions
  • Obtains quotes and conducts negotiations with carriers
  • Prepares proposals and presentations for producers and account executives to present to clients
  • Provides expertise to agency staff concerning markets and specific accounts
  • Maintains carrier relationships, explores new markets, and assists in evaluation of carrier relationships and introduction of new carriers
  • Works closely with producers, account executives, account managers, and other members of the marketing team.
