Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain in a technology company with multiple domestic and international locations
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar field
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Experience with International shipments and logistics
  • Working experience of NetSuite
  • Proven procurement and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and data-driven
  • Creative problem-solving and proactive
  • Impact-driven and scrappy
  • Bachelor/ Master degree in supply chain/Logistics preferred
  • Experience working in start-up environment

Responsibilities
  • Coordination of National and International Freight: Manage the transportation of goods by land, sea, and air, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization.
  • Monitoring Import and Export Shipments: Supervise the entire shipping process, from departure to destination, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Customs Documentation Review: Verify the correct preparation and submission of documents required for customs clearance, complying with all local and international regulations.
  • Preparation of Letters and Technical Data Sheets for Customs Brokers: Prepare and review the technical documentation required for customs processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
  • Logistics Cost Projection: Analyze and project costs associated with logistics operations, seeking resource optimization and process efficiency.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and engineering, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize inventory flow.
  • Generate purchase orders based on approved purchase requisitions.
  • Verify accuracy of order details, including quantities, prices, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure purchase orders comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Submit purchase orders to suppliers and confirm receipt.
  • Monitor the status of open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve any order discrepancies or delays.
  • Prepare and manage the logistics budget, including transportation, warehousing, and labor costs.
  • Analyze logistics costs and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any changes.
  • Address and resolve supplier issues related to purchase orders.
  • Update supplier records and maintain accurate contact information.
