Title: Onboarding SME
Location: San Antonio, TX (Remote)
Clearance: US Citizen (Secret Eligible)

About this role:

Platform One is a DoD enterprise service capability intended to make the DoD DevSecOps initiative a reality by leveraging industry best practices, open-source software such as Kubernetes and containers, and commercial solutions to instantiate CI/CD pipelines at various classification levels. Rackner is working with the Platform One program to support these initiatives and provide technical services and expertise for the program’s success.

The Onboarding SME will onboard and support product teams across the DoD as they leverage the Platform One tech stack to continuously develop and deploy code to multiple security environments. The Onboarding SME will effectively support and manage the onboarding process, provide expert guidance and training, and maintain a high level of communication and documentation skills. 

• Provide virtual onboarding experience for DoD product teams, leveraging Platform One pipelines.
• Support customer onboarding to ensure accurate resource and solution stack provisioning.
• Maintain documentation on all on-boarding activities.
• Conduct virtual weekly training workshops for onboarding DoD product teams, including Project Managers (PMs) and Developers.
• Ensure the delivery of educational materials and support live training and troubleshooting.
• Provide monthly status reports on curriculum and learning objectives.

We are seeking professionals with:

• Strong knowledge of the Platform One tech stack, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence for documentation and project management.

Nice to have:

• Proven experience in customer onboarding processes.
• Background in supporting technical startup customer support.
• Experience with resource and solution stack provisioning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a dynamic and changing environment.
• Ability to conduct training workshops and educational sessions for DoD product teams.
