Requirements
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within a technical or product-based business such as home appliances or water treatment.
  • Strong background in selling to residential customers, with a deep understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with experience motivating, developing, and coaching a small sales team.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals, build customer relationships, and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present products clearly and persuasively to residential customers.
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management software and sales tracking tools such as Salesforce, Zoho, or similar.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, creating a culture of accountability, customer focus, and results.
  • Set individual and team sales targets, monitor performance, and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue, market share, and customer acquisition across residential markets.
  • Take ownership of the full sales pipeline, ensuring effective lead management, conversion, and customer follow-up activities.
  • Work directly with customers to identify needs, provide tailored water treatment solutions, and support the team in closing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and referral business.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new sales team members to support business growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and product training to enhance team capability and results.
  • Analyse sales performance, pipeline activity, customer trends, and market insights to inform decision-making and future growth strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, key performance indicator reports, and business updates to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to maximise lead generation activity and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from sale through to installation and aftercare.
  • Continuously review and improve sales processes, tools, and customer engagement practices to improve conversion rates and overall performance.
  • Stay informed of competitor activity, industry developments, and emerging customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives, including market expansion, new product launches, and partnership opportunities.
