Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field (Masters/PhD is preferred) and a minimum 12 years of overall software engineering experience including 4 years of experience directly related to this role.
  • Proficiency in Python and C/C++: With at least 4 years of hands-on experience, you excel in these critical programming languages, supporting robust and efficient software development.
  • Expertise in Large-Scale Software Systems: Your previous experience with complex software architectures showcases your ability to handle big, challenging projects.
  • Mastery of Essential Tools: You are proficient with Linux, Git, GCC, and LLVM, ensuring seamless integration and development across various platforms.
  • Startup Agility: Thriving in fast-paced startup environments, you are adept at turning ideas into reality and achieving results swiftly.
  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning Acumen: You bring strong knowledge of key concepts and have practical experience with popular frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Llama.cpp, and vLLM, positioning you at the forefront of AI innovation.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the AI Framework Software Integration Team: Head a dynamic team dedicated to integrating advanced AI frameworks, driving cutting-edge development and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Silicon Design Team: Work closely with Ampere's silicon design experts on the groundbreaking Ampere Aurora AI accelerator, ensuring seamless hardware-software synergy.
  • Implement and Optimize Machine Learning Libraries: Design and implement innovative solutions and enhancements for popular machine learning libraries such as Llama.cpp, PyTorch, JAX, vLLM, and ONNX, significantly improving their functionality and efficiency.
  • Analyze and Optimize Neural Network Models: Conduct comprehensive analyses of neural network models, identifying and proposing critical improvements and optimizations at both the model and framework levels, advancing performance and effectiveness.
  • Develop Cutting-Edge AI Co-Processors/Accelerators: Take the lead in building state-of-the-art software and hardware AI co-processors/accelerators, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in AI technology.
