  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with specific category technical expertise, as applicable, PCBA manufacturing, IPC standards, SMT processing, CAD, GD&T.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Owns and manages specific categories/subcategories (one or more of PCB/A, batteries, harnesses, avionics, sensors/RF products, metals, plastics and composites) to execute to supplier production (NPI to full production) strategies across Anduril’s business lines; is a force multiplier for the Supply Chain team and overall Category strategy. Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, proactivity, technical excellence, creativity, self-direction, and courage.
  • Vets Suppliers' production capabilities, factory lay out, facilities, workforce for supplier inclusion in Approved Supplier List.
  • Supports Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in ensuring Suppliers' understanding and adherence to the criteria for Part Quality set by SQE.
  • Owns bringing up new production tooling & lines, development at Supplier (as needed), at Supplier sites to ensure supplier materials, processes & tools are capable of meeting Product Performance, Quality (criteria set by SQE) & Demand requirements.
  • Owns capacity expansion readiness and production ramp-up at Supplier.
  • Establishes and drives process performance and controls (SPC) reviews at Supplier.
  • Identifies and drives product & process improvements, and factory layout optimization at Supplier sites to lower part cost, reduce supply risk, eliminate potential defects, and improve cycle time ​over the product lifecycle.
  • Supports SQE with Root Cause task force at Anduril by working, in tandem with Supply Chain team, with Suppliers​, and responsible for closing the loop of Root Cause Corrective/Preventative Actions at Supplier.

  • Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or another related industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and certifications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
