Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area
Responsibilities
  • Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment
  • May supervise the work of others
  • Demonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects
  • Prepares and delivers presentations
  • Anticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services
  • Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs
  • Champions processes, procedures and safety standards
  • Monitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects
  • Evaluates potential Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS) opportunities in coordination with commercial and technical teams and compiles reports of projects for regulatory bodies
  • Leads development of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) plans and stewards the permit approval process with state, and/or federal regulatory agencies
  • Provides detailed design and technical support for injection well completions systems for optimum well performance; uses nodal analysis, including formation stimulations, wellbore integrity evaluations, materials, testing, measurement and chemical programs
  • Evaluates lease operating statements to verify model expenses align with historical data and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong engineering background with a deep understanding of CCUS technologies, project development processes, and industry regulations
  • Reservoir simulation experience with CMG/Eclipse or Intersect Software
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods for populating reservoir properties within reservoir models
