Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on data platforms, analytics products, or developer/internal platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at a lead or principal level: setting direction across multiple teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and owning outcomes at a platform or portfolio scope.
  • Must be based in and authorized to work in the United States. This is a U.S.-based, remote-first role.
  • Strong fluency in cloud-native data architectures: data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse patterns, streaming and batch pipelines, and modern modeling approaches.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AWS data services and the broader modern data stack; able to engage credibly with engineers on architectural and trade-off conversations.
  • Experience productizing client-facing data and analytics capabilities, including exposing curated and client-owned data sets through unified, analyst-friendly experiences.
  • Solid working understanding of machine learning productization—how models move from experimentation to production, and what it takes to build a durable intelligence layer on top of a data platform.
  • Experience launching and scaling platform or data products, ideally including a 0–1 offering brought from concept to general availability.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and experience leading multiple Agile teams in parallel; comfortable with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong grasp of security, privacy, compliance, and performance considerations relevant to financial data.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions, inform prioritization, and measure success at a platform level.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences—including executives and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, first-principles approach to ambiguous problems.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority, build trust across organizations, and rally cross-functional teams around a shared platform vision.
Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve a multi-year roadmap spanning data ingestion, data modeling, and the intelligence capabilities built on top of them.
  • Translate Alkami's broader product strategy into a coherent platform strategy, ensuring the data layer is a true force multiplier for downstream product teams and client outcomes.
  • Define and champion the product vision for the unified data layer and the intelligence layer that sits on top of it, including how native, client, and third-party data sets are surfaced through a single, consistent experience.
  • Drive a strong point of view on data governance, quality, lineage, definitions, and standards across both ingestion and modeling domains.
  • Define and monitor the key business and platform metrics that measure success, and use those insights to continuously optimize delivery and value.
  • Partner with the data ingestion engineering team to deliver scalable, cloud-native pipelines that onboard new data sources reliably, securely, and cost-effectively.
  • Partner with the data cleansing, modeling, and insights engineering team to deliver curated, high-trust analytic models that power both internal analytics and external client experiences.
  • Shape the intelligence layer roadmap in close partnership with Data Science, advancing Alkami's machine learning capabilities from point solutions toward a coherent, reusable intelligence platform.
  • Act as the voice of the customer—synthesizing input from financial institution clients, internal analysts, and product teams—to prioritize work that maximizes platform value.
  • Own and manage the backlog(s) for the teams you support: well-organized, prioritized, and aligned with the roadmap, with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead product across two cross-functional Scrum teams (engineers, designers, QA, data scientists), driving alignment without owning the org chart.
  • Serve as the central product point of contact for Sales, Client Success, UX, Engineering, Data Science, and other Product teams that depend on the data platform.
  • Partner with peer Product Managers across Alkami to ensure the data platform meets the needs of the products built on top of it and the strategic bets the company is making.
  • Lead the Agile ceremonies relevant to your teams—sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives—and help shape how product and engineering operate together at the platform layer.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to define scope, sequencing, dependencies, and resourcing across both teams.
  • Mentor and uplevel other product managers and adjacent roles through example, coaching, and clear product craft.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in fintech, digital banking, SaaS, or another regulated, data-intensive domain strongly preferred.

Alkami launches industry-first digital sales platform one year after MANTL acquisition

Alkami Technology has launched what it describes as the industry's first Digital Sales & Service Platform, unifying account opening, digital banking and data-driven marketing into a single solution. The platform is now live with several financial institutions. The launch comes one year after Alkami acquired MANTL. The platform aims to streamline the account holder journey from origination through digital banking, reducing friction between account opening and activation whilst improving early digital engagement. Key features include streamlined digital banking registration, enhanced auto-package assignment based on KYC risk scores, and Quick Apply, which allows account holders to open additional accounts without leaving their banking app. Since acquiring MANTL, institutions investing in all three platform components have grown more than fourfold, with 58% of new digital banking customers in late 2025 selecting the full platform.

Alkami Technology partners with Rhinebeck Bank via MANTL despite 42% share price drop

Alkami Technology has partnered with Rhinebeck Bank through its MANTL solution team to upgrade business and retail account opening across digital and branch channels. Despite this development highlighting Alkami's product capabilities, shares have fallen sharply, with one-year total shareholder returns down 42.26%, though three-year returns remain positive at 20.46%. The company last closed at $15.25, below a narrative fair value estimate of $22.67, suggesting potential undervaluation. However, analyst price targets have been revised downward from $32.11 due to reduced 2026 revenue expectations, lighter profitability guidance and sector-wide software-as-a-service multiple compression. Alkami currently trades at a price-to-sales ratio of 3.6x, above the estimated fair ratio of 3x and the US software industry average of 3.3x, presenting a more cautious valuation picture despite revenue growth of 15.75%.
