Requirements
  • Enrolled in a 4-year ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • On-track to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam for EIT Certification
  • In, or entering into, third or fourth year of college program
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HYDROCAD or an equivalent tool
  • Ability to work in ad-hoc teams and take direction
  • Ability to occasionally visit project sites
  • Passionate about renewable sources of energy
  • Preference to extend the internship to at least six months (reduced hours during the academic year)
Responsibilities
  • assisting in: Site due diligence and research of bylaws
  • Creation of plan sets (CAD)
  • Site civil and stormwater design
  • Permit applications
  • General project support tasks
