Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing equipment. i.e., diagnoses trouble or defects determines corrective action, and repairs system)
  • Go online PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and use a ladder diagram to troubleshoot control-related issues
  • Fabricate and perform upgrades and repairs to electrical control panels
  • Field wire instrumentation and motor controls, including running conduit and pulling wire
  • Perform and document maintenance calibrations, installations, fault diagnosis, and repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
  • Performs troubleshooting on all instrument systems and process control using P&ID and electrical schematics
  • Willing and able to perform maintenance technician duties as needed
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Desired Qualifications
  • Associates degree or technical certification in Industrial Technology, Industrial Electrical, or related technical program preferred. Relevant trade experience can be considered in lieu of a certificate/degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in an automated manufacturing environment preferred
  • Skilled at troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using Siemen &Allen Bradley PLC platforms
  • Skilled in SCADA systems such as Ignition and Factory Talk View
  • Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing pumps, motors, gearboxes, supply and exhaust fans, power transmission components, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics and competency around voltages up to 480V
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in electromechanical systems
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of current industrial electrical standards, ability to read electrical schematics, working knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motor control drives, servomotor systems, and basic working knowledge of pneumatic controls
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
