Your Role

As the first Product GTM (Go-to-Market) Strategist at Zip, you will lead us in setting the strategy for how we bring key products to market.  You will be responsible for creating differentiated product messaging and defining how our Sales team speaks to the pain our products solve, which you will do by leveraging rigorous research into our market and a deep understanding of the products themselves.  This role is highly cross-functional and will work closely with key stakeholders across the Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams. 

You Will

• Partner with the product management team to set a GTM strategy for each product - e.g., by defining target markets, advising on pricing and packaging, and defining sales / marketing strategy.
• Develop product positioning and competitively differentiated messaging for each product based on user research, market insights, and product knowledge.
• Take the lead on internal orchestration of product launches, from planning and managing a timeline / deliverables to creating key GTM assets yourself
• Work closely with brand, creative and demand-gen teams to increase market presence and drive pipeline through key outbound assets (video, webinars, thought leadership, email nurture, etc).
• Partner with sales enablement and channel teams to effectively position our products, leveraging internal tools and developing assets that help improve win rates.
• Become a product subject matter expert, evangelist and cross-functional leader who unites product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive business results.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of consulting, private equity, or similar experience.
• A strong sense of ownership and outcome oriented drive.
• Strong ability to write for various audiences, including technical content.
• Ability to collaborate productively with a range of teams / personalities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus, but not required.

The salary range for this role is $140,000-$190,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
