Requirements
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Auto-Cad Inventor 3D design software, 2D AutoCad, Excel, Trumpf Boost
  • Experience in using Material requirements planning (MRP) software, Infor Visual experience a plus
  • Solid computer literacy in MS Office and Google products
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with Engineers and adhere to budget guidelines
  • Ability to check engineering drawings & CNC programs
  • Strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with professionalism
  • Detail-oriented and team player
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Pass background check and drug/alcohol test
Responsibilities
  • Support engineering with programming of Trumpf machines
  • Coordinate material with operators
  • Review mechanical designs and build programs
  • Generate .DXFs of parts and place into Boost
  • Program tool selection for design
  • Select and Issue sheet metal in MRP system
  • Verify materials and quantities needed
  • Design individual needs and build item to specs
  • Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
  • Attend Engineering/Production hand off meetings
  • Act as quality control for designing and engineering
  • Improve procedures, processes, and methods for safety/quality
  • Assist operators in troubleshooting equipment and programming issues
  • Teach/coach operators to resolve equipment failure
