- Drive automation to minimize human intervention in global core network repairs, reducing errors, and costs.
- Partner with Engineering teams to develop innovative repair software, reducing manual effort.
- Leverage existing automation infrastructure to build a consolidated network repair stack.
- Implement new technologies to evolve network repair and operationalize core network advancements.
- Provide expertise in defining software requirements and designs for network repair solutions.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with one or more optical technologies such as client transceivers, optical metro, long-haul DWDM systems, or submarine systems.
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python.
- Experience in IP backbone (routing protocols, IP addressing, management and control planes, etc) or optical network (DWDM, OTN, coherent transceiver, etc).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building and maintaining software services, tools, and automation frameworks for analyzing and troubleshooting IP and optical networks.
- Knowledge of IP or optical network technologies (e.g., routing protocols, IP addressing, DWDM, OTN, etc.).
- Ability to write SQL scripts, query data structures, and extract network and diagnostic information.
- Ability to analyze business processes and provide data recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others through data insights.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
