Requirements
  • Understanding of EPA Subpart VV, VVa, KKK, OOOO, OOOOa, and W Fugitive Emission Monitoring requirements
  • Knowledge/Experience on US EPA and ASTM stack testing methodologies is an asset
  • Experience in Oil and Gas industry (preference given to candidates with natural gas processing/transmission facility experience)
  • Effective computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office are essential) and proficiency with Android OS
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts (days only)
  • Ability to walk and/or stand while handling/carrying various technical equipment for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable occasionally working at heights in a safe manner
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
  • Day to day manager of the field team and program
  • Assisting in coordinating and navigating to various facilities with maps and GPS
  • Helping to calibrate and maintain equipment
  • Using various detection and measurement technologies under the supervision of the Team Lead
  • Collecting and recording emission data
  • Preparing field reports as required
Desired Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an Associates or Bachelors Degree in engineering technology or applicable technical degree/diploma; related work experience in hydrocarbon detection and measurement, LDAR, instrumentation or stack emission testing or a mechanical background are also preferred, but not required

Montrose beats revenue estimates with 2.5% margin and 13% organic growth in Q4

Montrose, a provider of air quality monitoring and environmental consulting services, reported Q4 revenues of $193.3 million, up 2.2% year-on-year and exceeding analysts' expectations by 2.5%. The company beat estimates for earnings per share and adjusted operating income. For full-year 2025, Montrose delivered 13% organic revenue growth, expanded EBITDA margins and achieved 75% free cash flow conversion. Year-end leverage came in approximately 0.5 times lower than forecast. CEO Vijay Manthripragada said the company outperformed every major objective despite regulatory volatility. Across the waste management sector, the eight stocks tracked reported mixed Q4 results, with revenues in line with consensus estimates. Share prices have declined 7.6% on average since earnings. Montrose stock is down 4.1% since reporting, currently trading at $22.42.

Montrose Environmental beats Q4 expectations with $193.3M revenue, guides up to $900M for 2025

Montrose Environmental Group reported a fourth-quarter loss of $8.2 million, or 23 cents per share. However, adjusted earnings of 35 cents per share surpassed Wall Street expectations of 24 cents per share. The North Little Rock, Arkansas-based company posted revenue of $193.3 million for the quarter, exceeding analyst forecasts of $185.8 million. For the full year, Montrose reported a loss of $843,000, or 14 cents per share, on revenue of $830.5 million. The company expects full-year revenue between $840 million and $900 million. The earnings report was generated using data from Zacks Investment Research.

US stocks rally as Trump announces Greenland deal framework, tariff threat eases

Several US stocks surged in afternoon trading after the president announced a framework for a future deal with Greenland, reversing earlier plans to impose tariffs linked to the territory. The S&P 500 gained 1.2% as concerns over global trade tensions eased. Defence contractor CACI rose 4.4%, whilst renewable energy company SolarEdge jumped 4.6%. Specialty equipment distributor Alta climbed 4.7%, waste management firm Montrose increased 4.5%, and electronic components company Vicor gained 4%. The rally reflected renewed market optimism as the threat of widening trade conflict appeared to subside, encouraging investors to return to equities. The positive sentiment marked a reversal from steep market losses earlier in the week when tariff plans were first announced.

New chief for Montrose Environmental Group

New chief for Montrose Environmental Group. Montrose Environmental Group has appointed James Laws as its new Chief Operating Officer. Laws brings nearly a decade of experience in environmental remediation, air quality, environmental health and safety and permitting and planning to the role. He will oversee all business line operations across the company and deepen organisational efficiency. Montrose Environmental Group and its subsidiary EC2 have worked extensively on groundwater contamination projects throughout Australia, including PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) removal. Montrose Environmental Group names James Laws as chief operating officer

Montrose Environmental Group has appointed James Laws as chief operating officer. In this role, Laws will oversee all business line operations and report directly to CEO Vijay Manthripragada. Laws brings 25 years of experience in the environmental industry. He spent nearly a decade at AECOM, most recently as senior vice president responsible for environmental remediation, air quality, health and safety, and federal programmes. Earlier, he spent 16 years at CH2M HILL leading environmental programmes for the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Defense. Montrose operates approximately 120 locations worldwide with around 3,500 employees, providing environmental solutions including air measurement, laboratory services, regulatory compliance, and remediation services.
