What you’ll be doing...

As a Principal Engineer in Verizon Business Group, you’ll be working on our VBG team to develop exciting new technologies at the forefront of the customer experience. You will be a key member of the D365 team responsible for developing and managing cutting-edge CRM & Sales applications that serve Verizon’s diverse business customer base.

• Designing and architecting Dynamics 365 CRM and Sales solutions to meet complex business requirements.

• Leveraging  D365 AI capabilities, including Copilot Studio and Fare Knowledge, to enhance user experiences and automate business processes.

• Defining technical architecture, integration strategies, and data models to ensure scalability, performance, and security.

• Implementing and analyzing AI-powered features in Dynamics 365, such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, and intelligent recommendations.

• Customizing and extending Copilot Studio to create tailored AI-driven workflows and virtual assistants.

• Utilizing Fare Knowledge to build and manage knowledge bases that improve customer interactions and decision-making.

• Overseeing the implementation of Dynamics 365 CRM and Sales modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.

• Developing custom solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and extending functionality with plugins, workflows, and JavaScript.

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions.

• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Designing and implementing integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems (e.g.,, marketing automation tools, and third-party AI platforms).

• Overseeing data migration and ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security.

• Establishing governance frameworks for Dynamics 365 usage, including AI feature adoption, security, and compliance.

• Staying updated on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AI advancements, recommending adoption of new features and capabilities.

• Mentoring and guide junior architects, developers, and consultants.

• Lead technical workshops and training sessions for internal teams and clients.

Where you’ll be working…

In this hybrid role, you will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What you should have: 

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

• Extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM as a solution architect or principal architect.

• Proven experience in implementing and optimizing AI capabilities within Dynamics 365.

• Experience in Enterprise level projects  migrating projects from Salesforce to D365

• Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 CRM and Sales modules, including lead and opportunity management, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.

• Good proficiency in D365 AI tools, including Copilot Studio and Fare Knowledge.

• Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure services.

• Experience with integration tools such Azure Data Factory.

• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Certification in Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (Highly Recommended), Power Platform Developer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate (for AI-related expertise).

Even better if you have of the following:

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.

• Proven experience and proficiency  in D365 AI tools such as Copilot Studio and Fare Knowledge

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Sales  modules.

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Knowledge of advanced AI frameworks and tools beyond Dynamics 365.
