Ensure the company and branch diversity and inclusion philosophy is understood and actively executed within the restaurant.
Resolve customer and associate questions and problems using judgment and discretion, referring complex issues to senior-level leaders when appropriate.
Ensure compliance with company adult beverage policies and that restaurant staff understand and follow adult beverage procedures.
Assign work tasks and activities, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered.
Ensure associates take all mandated rest breaks and meal periods.
Ensure display areas are clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Operate the cash register and void transactions as needed while following cash-handling policies and procedures, and maintain cash security.
Monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures and guidelines, build awareness of wellness and safety, and report safety concerns to the General Manager.

Purpose: The purpose of the Assistant General Manager (AGM) position is to assist Branch management in tactically executing complex QSR or Casual Dine or similar restaurant management operations. The AGM ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high operational standards. The AGM uses prescribed policies and procedures to make management decisions.
