AI/ML Summer Intern @ Balbix

You will:

Design and develop one or more software features powered by Artificial Intelligence during the internship.
Build production quality solutions that balance complexity and performance and model complex interactions between people, software, infrastructure and policies in an enterprise environment.
Participate in the engineering life-cycle at Balbix, including designing high quality AI infrastructure and data pipelines, writing production code, conducting code reviews and working alongside our infrastructure and reliability teams

You are:

Able to take on very complex problems, learn quickly, iterate, and persevere towards a robust solution
Intutive in using the right type of models to address different product needs.
A good communicator, and facilitate teamwork via good documentation practices
Willingness to learn, collaborate and challenge yourself.

You have:

Graduate student in a STEM field with an excellent academic record. Publications or patents are not required, but a plus.
Relevant coursework or demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Statistics, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Networking, Information Security.
Experience programming in at least one of the following Python frameworks - Numpy, scipy, pandas, scikit-learn, pytorch, tensorflow.
Foundational knowledge of probability, statistics and linear algebra.
Previous internship experience in software engineering, machine learning or academic research is a strong plus.
Evidence of participation in software projects (open-source contributions, hackathons) is a strong plus
