Overview
Tonal is looking for a detail-oriented growth marketer with experience driving acquisition through performance media, primarily on paid social channels. The ideal candidate will be fluent within Paid Social Platforms, and be able to develop strategies and execute campaigns flawlessly. The Growth Marketing Manager will be able to dive deep into performance data and derive actionable insights that will drive paid media strategies and make a tangible impact across the business. The Growth Marketing Manager will be a member of the Growth Team, which has ownership of driving Tonal adoption and sales. This role will own the day-to-day execution/ management of the paid social program (trafficking/set up, daily optimization, and reporting) and facilitate creative and copy tests within the channel. The role can be based out of Toronto or San Francisco and will report to the Growth Associate Director.
What You Will Do
- Own strategy for campaign structure, targeting, and creative opportunities
- Daily optimization and management of campaigns within paid social platforms
- Reporting and analysis across all paid social campaigns and channels; digging deep into campaign performance, KPIs and optimizations
- Maintain and update a robust audience strategy based on user attributes, interests, browsing patterns, demographic data, and custom audiences dependent on the paid social platform
- Launch, measure, and test emerging paid social channels, owning campaign execution, QA, reporting, and vendor relationships etc.
- Own and contribute to the management of smaller channels such as Direct Mail and Affiliate
- Work with the creative team to produce and update digital assets, iterating on the design, messaging strategy based on performance, and providing feedback based on best practices
- Work closely with the marketing analytics team to identify performance trends; shifting strategy as needed to ensure KPIs are being met or exceeded
- Budget allocation and monitoring across all campaigns
- Identify and execute incrementality and A/B testing opportunities
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
- Report and share Paid Media program updates to the greater Commerce organization, curating the depth of information based on the audience and raising the understanding of paid efforts across the company
Who You Are
- 3 - 5 years of overall work experience, ideally in a marketing context
- 2 - 4 years of experience running Facebook advertising campaigns and associated reporting
- Extensive experience using Facebook Business Manager
- Bonus points for other paid social platforms like TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, etc
- A testing mindset with a proven track record of executing A/B tests, optimizing campaigns, and translating data into insights
- Familiarity with all digital marketing metrics including CTR, CPC, CPM, CAC, etc.
- Strong Excel skills with experience building pivot tables and analyzing performance trends
- Extreme attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution
- Excellent communication and project/task management skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment
The range of base salary for the position is between $110,000 - $120,000 USD plus equity, and benefits. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary. This role is also eligible for health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, and paid time off, parental leave, and other additional benefits.
