Responsibilities
  • Leading a team that sets long-term cross-carline strategy for advanced technology and safety features, across all Lexus and Toyota products
  • Defines quantitative and qualitative consumer research approaches to assess the customer value of new technology features
  • Sets priorities of customer needs, and represents customer voice in negotiations with R&D teams
  • Creates product business cases and negotiates with senior executives for long-term investments
  • Negotiates implementation strategies for new technology features, including pricing, deployment plans, and take rates
  • Tracks all industry technology trends and benchmarks competitive systems. The team stays close to technology business partner development plans
  • Develops passive and active safety guidelines related to FMVSS, NHTSA, and IIHS, and actively monitors changes in the regulatory landscape.
