  • 5 YEARS IN A COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL ENVIRONMENT
  • Electrical Theory/Ohm’s Law, Emergency diesel generators, UPS systems, Batteries, Fire suppression systems, Fire alarm systems, Automatic transfer switches, Static Transfer Switches, Circuit breakers/settings, Proficiency with electrical testing equipment.
  • MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND AVAILABLE.
  • MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
  • MUST BE A SELF STARTER AND POSESS VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Electrical technicians, provide guidance, and delegate daily tasks.
  • Supervise the operation and maintenance of Electrical infrastructure and associated equipment.
  • Partner with Electrical Manager to make recommendations to be included in the performance management cycle, development training, on-boarding, new employee training and development.
  • Advise management on all aspects of staff performance.
  • Support cross training efforts with other departments to ensure all personnel are familiar with and support other trades.
  • Train staff on emergency procedures and familiarize them with off-site locations and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Vendors to perform construction and new equipment installations safely and in a manner that will not impact production.
  • Review and participate in written procedures designed to accomplish work while minimizing risk to property and personnel.
