Requirements
  • A high school diploma and a valid driver's license.
  • At least 3 years of professional sales experience.
  • Experience using YARDI or other property management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach to outreach marketing, including networking, attending events, and social media management.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build collaborative partnerships.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work a regular Tuesday-Saturday schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Ability to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities and push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the community's marketing, leasing, and sales strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals by qualifying and nurturing leads, conducting impactful tours, and providing thoughtful follow-up.
  • Execute outreach marketing events to generate new leads and drive traffic to the community.
  • Manage the community's social media accounts to promote the Sparrow lifestyle.
  • Qualify prospects and conduct tours by establishing strong relationships and understanding their expectations and needs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of local comparable properties and Sparrow's differentiators and value proposition.
  • Use customer relationship management software to document and respond to all leads promptly, including personalized follow-up to nurture relationships and increase prospect interest.
  • Use YARDI to monitor apartment availability, qualify prospects, and manage leasing activity.
  • Inspect the community daily and communicate with maintenance team members to ensure show-quality standards.
  • Prepare the office for daily leasing activities and assist with daily operations.
  • Provide service and execute the Lifestyle & Engagement program to support community member satisfaction and retention, including sales-event setup, teardown, and participation encouragement.
  • Provide hospitable, high-quality service to create a memorable experience for all.
  • Attend monthly planning sessions with the Regional Lifestyle & Engagement Lead after community stabilization.
  • Coordinate community and sales events, including setup and teardown, after community stabilization.
  • Organize event supplies and manage onsite vendor relations after community stabilization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with lease-up properties in multifamily housing, Active Adult communities, or hospitality.
