Amentum is now hiring for several System/Network Architect (All Levels) positions in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

The candidate will perform the following duties:

• Designs, validates, and implements scalable system infrastructure such as servers and databases.

• Evaluates and analyzes complex systems architecture for performance and efficiency improvements. Defines coding and technological architectural standards.

• Develops and documents company’s hardware and network infrastructure setups.

• May code and write scripts to automate tasks.

• Has experience in planning goals for system and/or network operations.

• Can clearly translate user needs to system and/or network design.

• Can create system and/or network management processes and documentation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required.

• 1-10+ years of experience.

• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance. 

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $250,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
