Requirements
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years of experience developing high-availability, distributed systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Go, Rust or similar languages.
  • Experience building complex Ethereum 'dapps' with Solidity or Yul.
  • Comfortable building systems that secure user’s funds.
  • Love writing fast, well-optimized, well-tested, clean code.
  • Confident with performance optimization, identifying bottlenecks and scalability concerns.
Responsibilities
  • Help architect the caldera Metalayer, a high-performance, stack-agnostic blockchain interop solution.
  • Develop our reference relayer/solver using languages like Go, Rust, and Solidity.
  • Write efficient and secure EVM smart contracts in solidity that are used both to operate the interop system and to be consumed by other developers.
  • Drive the technical direction, establish roadmaps, communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners to help Caldera win.

Caldera.xyz creates customizable blockchain rollups that improve the performance and scalability of existing blockchains like Ethereum and Polygon. These rollups allow developers and organizations to deploy applications with high transaction throughput and low fees, offering features like paying gas fees in native tokens or eliminating them entirely. The platform is user-friendly, enabling clients to build and manage their rollups without extensive technical knowledge, and is EVM compatible for easy integration with existing tools. Caldera aims to simplify blockchain deployment while providing tailored, high-performance solutions for its clients.
