Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or 4+ years of business development experience
- Expertise/training in Engineering, Geology, Construction Management or related field is a plus
- At least 4+ years of responsible experience in business development
- Experience working in the engineering and construction trades is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to win new business
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Fully qualified professional capable of exercising independent judgment in business development
- Ability to think conceptually and communicate with a multi-disciplined staff and clients
- Ability to travel extensively and work with professional and administrative staff
Responsibilities
- Contribute to company growth by identifying and securing business opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and consultants
- Identify and evaluate potential new service offerings
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations
- Provide feedback to project management employees
- Work closely with corporate marketing staff to develop sales tools
