Procore is seeking a Staff User Researcher (Quantitative) with an exceptional knack for uncovering actionable insights across complex digital solutions. A self-starter thriving in autonomy, and a collaborative team player, this candidate combines advanced survey practices with behavioral analysis to deliver actionable insights.
In this role you will be an integral part of our Product Insights Team, working across our solutions uncovering and solving for the real issues challenging productivity and impeding innovation in the construction space. Your research will impact how our user experiences create valuable outcomes for the lives of construction workers and the customers we serve. As a seasoned expert, we invite you to help shape how we identify and collect the user-centric metrics we use to evaluate success and strengthen our understanding of end users’ needs, attitudes, and motivations.
Working alongside fellow User Researchers, Subject Matter Experts, and Product Data Analysts, you will apply advanced research techniques and strategic thinking to drive collaborative efforts across customer-facing departments. You’ll engage in projects that span the various phases of construction. You’ll work alongside Designers, PMs, and Engineers. You’ll visit job sites and see firsthand the complexities of what goes into a construction project.

This position reports to the Director of User Research and will be required to work a hybrid model (2-3 days in person) from the Austin, TX office.We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Conduct quantitative research that may range in scope and size, across multiple products, within appropriate timelines
Conduct usability assessments and use mixed-method user research to support our product and design development processes
Create and manage a well-defined research program within solution a solution area; expertly manage user research initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial exploration to post-launch evaluations
Regularly communicate and share your research findings with stakeholders, leadership, and other audiences
Create partnerships with other customer insights teams to deepen insights, facilitate learning, and connect data points
Collaborate with and influence stakeholders focused on outcomes, by creatively disseminating customer insights to instill greater empathy across the organization
Participate in customer job site visits, customer events, and facilitate insights sessions to deepen understanding of user needs
Provide guidance and coaching for cross-functional teams to adopt and excel in research best practices, enhancing customer interactions
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in conducting quantitative methods of user experience research and handling large data sets
Expert skills in quantitative analysis, visualizations, and relevant data tools like R/Python and SQL
Advanced skills in running end-to-end mixed method user research including discovery, generative and evaluative studies (for ex. usability studies)
Strategic thought leader who is an Influential collaborator comfortable working with multiple product roles and functions
Practiced at distilling complex ideas into simple-to-understand concepts with clear, actionable insights
Seasoned with applying research in common product development processes and design thinking practices
Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry while not necessary is advantageous
