Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Currently holds two or more current Epic certifications, or has obtained Epic proficiency with equivalent other electronic health record systems and has consistently demonstrated technical competencies for 4+ years in the relevant or functional business area.
  • Currently holds or is willing to complete necessary certifications, determined at the time of hire, within the first 6 months of employment. Certifications may include Core Clinical, Research clinical or billing, Beacon, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, Clinical Apps, and Healthy Planet.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the relevant or functional business area, including at least 2 years providing electronic health record systems application maintenance and support.
  • At least 2 years of experience with application or system configuration and implementation of clinical information systems or healthcare applications.
  • Advanced experience with electronic health record systems application maintenance and support.
  • Advanced experience with application or system configuration and implementation of clinical information systems or healthcare applications.
  • Advanced experience with clinical research, particularly using Epic or OnCore Clinical Trial Management System.
  • Advanced experience defining customer requirements and translating them into design specifications.
  • Advanced experience assisting team members and sharing knowledge, with exposure to mentoring others.
  • Advanced experience with formal project management methods.
  • Advanced experience significantly contributing to multidisciplinary work groups in an application development or support setting.
  • Advanced experience independently outlining work plans and meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced experience executing test plans and test cases.
Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers and perform detailed, advanced-level requirements analysis.
  • Analyze advanced-level work process flows and technical solutions to bridge the gap between current and future states.
  • Design, build, test, and implement advanced-level enhancements to meet requirements.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with clinical and non-clinical application teams on research-related build.
  • Support advanced-level research needs and crossover with the Clinical Trial Management System.
  • Build, develop, and support advanced-level interfaces, bridges, and billing.
  • Provide advanced-level production support and ongoing system troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, and training.
  • Participate in advanced-level projects, processes, and documentation to support customer needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Priority will be given to PharmD candidates.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who hold current Epic certification in Willow.
