Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 20+ years of engineering experience OR Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 18+ years of engineering experience OR PhD in a STEM discipline and 15+ years of engineering experience
  • IFC development and execution experience
  • Experience creating and driving technology roadmaps across large scale programmatic, division, and sector organizations
  • Experience as a technical leader to multi-disciplinary teams across different program lifecycle phases
  • 8+ years of demonstrated success leading teams/and or technical solutions.
  • US Citizenship
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
Responsibilities
  • Create technology Roadmaps to inform Northrop Grumman’s strategy, shape future program pursuits and assist in developing technical differentiating Mission capabilities.
  • Conduct complex analyses to develop operational and system capabilities which achieve desired mission effects. Solutions may be developed under conditions of uncertainty or where little precedent exists.
  • Provide inputs in proposal development for technology and products
  • Serve as a primary domain expert in support of key business functions, identifying and quantifying capability gaps, focusing attention on technical solutions to meet future needs and inform requirements
  • Coordinate portfolio to help optimize Sector/Division investment (i.e. IR&D approach, program/project tracking, cost, scalability, documentation, reporting, etc).
  • Develop customer relationships, interface with key stakeholders, and support development of new business or expand our technology credibility.
  • Involvement in attracting and capturing new business
  • Participate in customer, industry, and/or academic, advisory boards or consortiums.
  • Work closely with the Sector/Division Leaders to define technical solutions aligned to customers’ strategies and requirements.
  • Champion company values, including safety, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Aid personnel technical development through leadership, team building, mentorship, and shared knowledge.
  • As an NG Fellow for Software Engineering, the technical leader will primarily support the Sentinel program.
  • This NG Fellow will be the technical lead driving software execution on the program by standardization of tools and processes in compliance with the Sentinel Software Development Plan and utilizing the Sentinel Software Development Environment.
  • The NG Fellow will support SDS Division initiatives on PrOPs and Sentinel unique processes.
  • They will also support critical program activities, such as Award Fee, Software CDRL metrics, mission stakeholder engagement on Software, and DevStar configuration certification activities.
